Olga Georgievskaya

     Olga Georgievskaya is the author of a number of concert piano transcriptions that have been published and extensively performed by many pianists in Russia, United Kingdom, France, Netherlands, Italy, Finland, Uzbekistan, and the USA.
     For the creation of concert piano transcription after Sonata in B minor of Jean-Marie Leclair, Olga Georgievskaya was awarded with the artistic residence at the Royal Abbey of Saint-Riquier, France, through the 2015 Odyssee program supported by the French Ministry of culture and communication and the Network of Cultural Encounter Centers. Olga Georgievskaya is a permanent participant of Festival of Piano Transcription History and Modern Times as an author of piano transcriptions as well as a pianist. The transcriptions of T. Vitali’s Chaconne and of two songs of S. Rachmaninov were recorded for her debut CD Chaconnes and Songs, released in 2015 with Odradek Records.
     After having her transcriptions performed at the 15th Annual Russian Festival of Music, Dance and Art in Dallas (USA), Olga Georgievskaya was awarded with an honors certificate by the Russian American Center of Dallas “in recognition of outstanding contribution to the promotion of Russian culture”.

Olga Georgievskaya se consacre également à la création de nouvelles transcriptions de concert pour piano, duo de piano et autres ensembles des exécutants. La plupart de ses transcriptions ont été publiées et interprétées par de nombreux musiciens en Russie, en Italie, en France, en Grande Bretagne, aux Pays-Bas, en Finlande, en Ouzbékistan, aux États-Unis.

La transcription de concert pour piano d’après la Sonate en si mineur de Jean-Marie Leclair est le fruit de la résidence d’Olga Georgievskaya à l’Abbaye royale de Saint-Riquier, France (août-septembre 2015), dans le cadre du programme de résidences internationales d’artistes Odyssée du réseau des Centres Culturels de Rencontre et du Ministère de la Culture et de la Communication de France.

Olga Georgievskaya est l’invitée régulière du Festival International des Transcriptions pour piano Histoire et Notre Temps non seulement comme pianiste-interprète mais aussi comme auteur de transcriptions de concert. Ses transcriptions d’après T. Vitali et S. Rachmaninov constituent une partie du programme de son premier disque enregistré sous le label Odradek Records.

En tant qu’auteur des transcriptions exécutées lors du 15ème Festival Annuel de Musique, de Danse et d’Art à Dallas (Texas, les États-Unis), elle est couronnée de distinction honorifique du Centre Russe-Américain de Dallas «en reconnaissance de son exceptionnelle contribution à la promotion de la culture russe».

     Ольга Георгиевская – автор ряда концертных транскрипций, преимущественно для фортепиано и фортепианного дуэта. Многие из них получили международное признание и исполняются пианистами в России, Великобритании, Нидерландах, Италии, Франции, Финляндии, Узбекистане, США.
     Создание концертной фортепианной транскрипции Сонаты Жан-Мари Леклера принесло Ольге Георгиевской победу в конкурсном проекте международной артистической резиденции «Одиссея» (Сан-Рикье, Франция). Созданная Ольгой Георгиевской концертная транскрипция Чаконы Т. Витали была включена в репертуарный список программы высшего исполнительского мастерства Университета г. Дублина (Ирландия) и послужила сюжетом специально записанного двухчасового интервью с ее автором. Транскрипции Ольги Георгиевской из музыки Т. Витали и С. Рахманинова были включены в программу компакт-диска, записанного пианисткой для фирмы «Odradek Records».
     За создание транскрипций, прозвучавших на музыкальном фестивале в Далласе (Техас, США), Ольге Георгиевской был вручен наградной сертификат Русского Американского центра г. Далласа, подтверждающий «признание выдающегося вклада в продвижение русской культуры».
