She commands her instrument and shows remarkable sensitivity, which shows in the dynamic gradations that she’s capable of. One might almost think that Martha Argerich, although she is still very present and successful, has found a worthy successor. Rarely has the author of these lines heard her way of interpreting tone so differentiated and with such a tactful approach. This pianist does not only display her exceptional talent at the instrument she plays, but she also uses her musical gifts to create arrangements of the works of other composers.
...a CD you must absolutely hear.

Auf ihrem bei Odradek 2014 veröffentlichten Album Chaconnes & Songs beginnt Olga Georgievskaya mit dem Chaconne in D-major von Bach-Busoni, gefolgt von der Klaviersonate No. 2 von Rachmaninov. Sie beherrscht ihr Instrument und legt dabei ein außergewöhnliches Feingefühl an den Tag, das sich immer wieder in den dynamischen Abstufungen, derer sie fähig ist, bemerkbar macht. Fast könnte man meinen, in ihr hat die natürlich immer noch erfolgreiche und sehr präsente Martha Argerich eine würdige Nachfolgerin gefunden. So differenziert und mit soviel Fingerspitzengefühl hat der Verfasser ihren Interpretationsstil bisher ganz selten zu hören bekommen. Dass diese Pianistin ein Ausnahmetalent sondergleichen ist, beweist sie nicht nur an ihrem
Instrument; ihre ausgesprochen hohe musikalische Begabung setzt sie zudem auch noch dahingehend ein, dass sie Werke anderer Komponisten bearbeitet. Auf dieser CD befinden sich drei Kostproben dieses Talentes, zum einen zwei Bearbeitungen der Stücke von Rachmaninov mit den Titel „Oh do not Grieve“ und „Fragment from Musset“ und zum anderen eine Vitali Bearbeitung mit dem Titel Chaconne in g-minor. Eine CD, die man unbedingt gehört haben sollte.

Pianista rusa Olga Georgievskaya exhibe su capacidad musical con obras de Rachmaninov, Lizst y Chopin
El concierto, que se ha celebrado en el Teatro Juan del Enzina, forma parte del ciclo musical Odradek, organizado por la Universidad de
Salamanca.
Dentro del ciclo musical Odradek, organizado por el Servicio de Actividades Culturales de la Universidad de Salamanca, el Teatro Juan del Enzina ha sido el escenario, este miércoles, de un recital a
cargo de la pianista rusa Olga Georgievskaya, que ha servido un intenso repertorio con obras de Rachmaninov, Lizst y Chopin.
El público salmantino ha podido comprobar la calidad de esta solista, que ya ha actuado con las más importantes orquestas del mundo. Además, es doctora por Conservatorio Nacional Tchaikovski de
Moscú y profesora del Departamento de Música de la Universidad Pedagógica de la Ciudad de Moscú y de la Academia de las Artes del Estado Ruso.

Le spectacle du orchestre… a été embelli par la pianiste de Moscou Olga Georgievskaya...
